Our research group focused on synthesis of inorganic/organometallic complexes with interesting photochemical and catalytic properties. Currently, we are investigating metal-dithiolene complexes as a dye component in dye-sensitized solar cells as well as a catalyst for organic transformations. Students working in our group will gain experiences in air-free synthetic techniques, spectroscopy, electrochemistry, and density functional theory.
